Some of my earliest and fondest memories are from Kansas City. My parents moved from East Africa to Kansas City when I was six years old and although I had difficulties transitioning to a new place, the city and the people helped me to find my footing and flourish. As an artist, Kansas City finds its way into my artwork and I love going home to visit family and friends. ❤️?❤️?
