I created this bright and happy painting after my little heart procedure. I was feeling a little “blah” and uninspired in my studio. I had this BIG canvas sitting in the corner staring at me. (Yes, canvas’ can do that!)  I don’t usually create large scale paintings, but decided I wanted to give it a try. I have always loved the keel-billed toucan (also known as the rainbow toucan) because the look like something a 6-year-old child created. They are bright and beautiful, and I wanted to infuse some of that feeling onto my canvas and into my heart. ❤️?????
